Pokie Review
Bison Moon Ultra Link and Win — What This Pokie Offers
Here2Win Casino carries this Microgaming pokie built around a Link and Win jackpot chase and a set of bonus rounds, wrapped in an animal-themed reel that swings hard at high volatility.
The Link and Win Format: Building Toward an In-Game Jackpot
Bison Moon Ultra Link and Win runs on Microgaming's Link and Win engine. Certain symbols lock into place on the reels and hold their position through a short run of extra spins, with fresh matching symbols locking in as they land during that run. Fill enough of the grid this way and the round feeds into the in-game jackpot that's built into the format, rather than a payline win in the ordinary sense.
It's a different rhythm to a standard reel: most spins are business as usual, but once the locking sequence kicks off, the board fills in gradually and the tension sits in how many of those extra spins land another matching symbol before time runs out.
Two ways in, one reel
The jackpot chase and the bonus rounds don't overlap directly — they're separate mechanics stacked on the same base game, so a session can turn on either one.
Bonus Rounds Layered on the Jackpot Push
Alongside the locking mechanic, Bison Moon Ultra Link and Win also carries its own bonus rounds. That's a second, separate layer of feature play sitting apart from the jackpot chase itself, so there's more than one route to a bigger result across a longer session. I'd treat the two as parallel tracks rather than one feeding the other: the bonus rounds can turn up on their own schedule regardless of how the locking symbols are behaving.

Pace Check: High Volatility, a Different Feel to Agent Jane Blonde
The RTP here sits at 94.13%, which lands below the roughly 96.05% median across the pokies covered on this Here2Win Casino slots hub. Paired with a High volatility rating, that means longer stretches between the bigger hits, with the jackpot mechanic and bonus rounds doing the heavy lifting when they do land. It's not a title I'd size for a quick, steady grind — I'd rather set a smaller stake and a firm session budget going in, given both the swing and the below-median return sit against it.
Compare that with Agent Jane Blonde, another Microgaming release with a 96% RTP and Low volatility. That one leans on bonus rounds alone, no in-game jackpot attached, and plays out far steadier over a session. If Bison Moon feels too jumpy for your bankroll on a given night, Agent Jane Blonde is the calmer stablemate to try instead.
Animal Theme and Microgaming's Take on the Format
The reel is built around an animal theme, giving the locking symbols and jackpot chase a clear visual identity rather than a generic card-and-fruit set. Microgaming has leaned on the Link and Win structure across more than one release, and this is the studio's version of that jackpot-style approach paired with its own bonus round layer on top.

Worth a Spin, With Eyes Open on the Volatility
Bison Moon Ultra Link and Win gives you a genuine jackpot mechanic and bonus rounds on one reel, but the High volatility and below-median RTP mean it plays best with a set budget rather than an open tab. If that pace suits your night, the offer's ready when you are.
